The new and slightly improved version Who’s Career Is It Anyway was a little tougher than previous attempts so I’m chalking up that specific part of it as a win. Before I remove my t-shirt and wave it around my head in a celebratory lap of the Paddy Power offices, it wasn’t impossible and it took all of 4 minutes for someone to get the correct answer.
Last week I asked you to use your knowledge of geography and mid-level Premier League players to decipher who’s career was being represented with flags placed strategically around what looks like google maps if it was designed by an infant. Lots of people managed to tell me it was Jonathan Greening – the former York, Man Utd, Middlesbrough, West Brom and current Fulham player who actually has a Champions League medal (that was meant to be the very tenuous topical link).
The more than one correct answer means that all the correct answers needed to be put into my fancy journalist hat and the winner drawn at random was Lee Brooks. We asked for Retweets to increase the prize fund and sadly for him and my twitter account, that only increase the total prize to a £63 Free Bet. Hey – it’s not the biggest prize, but as the saying goes, it’s better than a slap in the face with a Wet Wet Wet record.
Congratulations Lee. All those years of painstakingly reading Match and Shoot have finally paid dividends.
Come back soon, because we’ve got more competition goodness on the way.
