Win A Free €/£50+ Bet

by Aidan Elder | June 7, 2011

I’ve been a bit more ambitious than normal with this week’s competition. Not ambitious in the sense of wanting to achieve anything or doing anything beyond the bare minimum, more ambitious in the sense of taking our ever popular blog competition to a strange new place.

There’s not much more to it. Each flag in the map represents a club that this football player has played for in the course of his senior career and as the more eagle-eyed of you will have noticed it spans two continents and quite possibly three – depending on your views about the geographical boundaries of Europe. The name pretty much gives it away. This week’s competition is called Who’s Career Is It Anyway? (p.s. What happened to Scandinavia?) It’s a lot like a normal game of Who’s Career Is It Anyway?, but we’ve introduced an international element to test your geographical and random footballer knowledge to the maximum.

Win A Free Bet

Send your answer and username to competitions@paddypower.com with the subject line ‘Ah, I wasn’t that fond of Scandinavia anyway’. before midnight on Sunday 12th June. In the likely event that we get more than one correct answer, the winner will be drawn at random and I’ll announce the winner on the blog next Monday morning.

Answers entered in the comments section will not count, but you can use it to throw off your potential opponents or speculate what’s happened to Scandinavia and northern Russia. Feel free to have more than one guess, especially if you’re not confident about your guess or your name happens to be Tina.

There’s a Free €/£50 Bet up for grabs, but to copyright infringe the catchphrase of some gameshow host or another, ‘we don’t want to give you that’. For every Retweet we get of this tweet, we’ll increase the prize by one euro or pound sterling.

Good luck one and all.

Conditions
– Paddy Power decision is final. Moaning will get you an e-clip around the ear.
– Maximum prize from Retweeting will be €/£150
