At home to Swansea is a game Man City would always have been expected to win but the manner of their victory will incite at least three people to get “Man City Premier League Champions 2012” tattooed in an embarassingly obvious location. After a debut in which he played just over half an hour, set up a goal and scored twice, Sergio Kun Aguero will be going straight into everyone’s Fantasy Football team this weekend. Without getting too carried away, he could be the key to City’s title hopes and if Tevez doesn’t leave before September then Aguero’s presence could really help him to be happy at the club…well I say happy but probably just less miserable. Aguero and Tevez would arguably form the most potent front pairing in the league.
Swansea weren’t without their positives in the first half and their attempts to play open attacking football were admirable but then so were Blackpool’s last season and, eh, yeah that didn’t work out so well.
