For this week’s competition, we’re playing a bit of age-old Spot The Ball, which means you’ll need just the right amount of skill, judgement and jamminess.
Have a look, calculate the angles, look at the eyelines and them give us your guess in the comments section below. Or save yourself the bother and have a wild guess in the comments section. The below bit is important so it’s getting its own paragraph.
Everyone is allowed to have one guess, but for TWO BONUS GUESSES subscribe to our fantastic Daily Email Blog. There’s an arrow pointing you in the general direction (the top right hand corner of this blog). Once you go through the subscription process (it’s really simple thanks to our good friends at Feedburner – click here), you’ll qualify for your two bonus guesses. If you have previously subscribed for our daily email then you can just go ahead and have your three guesses, but we have a list of subscribers and we will be doing a Santa Claus by checking it twice, so there’s no point trying to fool us. We’re surprisingly smart, despite what the standard of writing on this blog suggests.
Yes it’s a form of shameless bribery, but there’s something in it for you because you’ll get sent hilarious* blog content to help get you through a day of work, college or performing delicate heart surgery. And – let’s not sugarcoat it – the main incentive is you’ll get two more guesses and in theory at least have a much better chance of telling us where the ball is and landing the Free Bet that’s likely to be substantially bigger than €/£100.
*content may not always be hilarious and may often be less than chucklesome, but we are trying our best. Plus it’s only an email so you delete it with little fussy.
<<>>> Please note this is different to the WordPress notifications you may have previously subscribed to.
If you subscribed to them, it doesn’t count for this competition. Sorry, but it’s all in the name of progress. <<>>>
Anyhoo, here’s the picture:
Answers in the comments section please. The prize will start off as a €/£100, but will increase by €/£1 for every retweet of this tweet and share on Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+ we get. If more than one person gets it right, we’ll have the following scenarios:
(a) if 2 or 3 people all get it right, we’ll split the prize 2 or 3 ways.
(b) if more than 3 people get it right, we’ll have a winner takes all draw and – as the name suggests – the lucky winner will take it all. It’s harsh, but it’s the only way of doing it that doesn’t turn the administration of this competition into a horrendous form of telesales.
Get your answers in to us before 10am on Wednesday 2nd November and if you’ve any question, stick them in the comments section or give me an e-shout at @PaddyPowerAidan on twitter.
Best of luck.
