I like Mario Balotelli. There I’ve said it but I do so with the confidence that I’m not the only one. Yes he’s a bit mental and probably not the sharpest tool in the shed but nearly everything he does brings a smile to your face. Who, other than United fans, didn’t chuckle a little when hearing how the Italian spent the afternoon following City’s 6-1 win driving around Manchester high-fiving City supporters. The fireworks, the crazy shopping sprees, even his inability to put on a bib. Well here’s the next instalment in the Balotelli show-reel. The City man came on against Uruguay wearing an old Italian shirt. In fairness it had only been changed in the run up to the game but still, it could only happen to Mario. We also got to see that he’s actually quite a decent sort with his sincere apology to Diego Perez, whose eyebrow he cut following a slightly reckless challenge.
