Many people think it’s tricky to pick the winner of the Grand National. We disagree. In a bid to identify the most likely victor, the Paddy Power Blog team spent hours and days sifting through the form, the pedigrees and the historical data for the Grand National. Then we realised My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding was on TV and we gave up.
Instead, we’ve hired the services of people who know much more about racing to provide us with some tip cheat sheets. We spoke to top jockey Ruby Walsh, World Champion snooker player and top racing pundit John Parrott, loudmouth and punter supreme Mark ‘The Couch’ Winstanley and At The Races expert Gary O’Brien and got them to run their wise rules over the key contenders in the Grand National.
Print it out, share the knowledge with your work-mates and then sit back as the inevitable gratitude, cash rewards and sexual favours roll in* as a result of your helping friends and colleagues find a Grand National winner.
*Gratitude, cash rewards and sexual favours are not inevitable and may not in fact ‘roll in’.
