He’s 14 years old and it took a reported €500,000 for AC Milan to fight off competition from Inter, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Manchester City to sign Hachim Mastour.
Born in Italy to Moroccan parents, the young fella was transferred to Reggiana from his local side at the age of 10. Then Inter snapped him up, before AC snatched him from their city rivals.
“My main characteristics? Ball control and dribbling. I do things that other boys my age don’t do,” said Mastour when interviewed by Sky recently.
Yes, yes, the control he shows with a tiny ball is undeniable. But has he ever done it on a wet Monday at Stoke, etc? And those legs look a bit bandy.
