Staring at the lights: A knock-out Money-Back special

by Josh Powell | July 11, 2012

This weekend packs one hell of a punch with not one but two huge boxing matches on Saturday night. Paddy Power isn’t one to step between the ropes himself, but he has got a knock-out Money-Back Special lined up for punters.

If David Haye v Dereck Chisora or Amir Khan v Danny Garcia finishes within the first three rounds Paddy Power will refund losing bets on round betting and group round betting markets on that fight!

At Upton Park it is little more than a brawl when David Haye meets Dereck Chisora in a heavyweight fight that is surrounded in controversy. The bout is being sanctioned by the Luxembourg Boxing Federation and not the British one because Chisora doesn’t even hold a licence after the infamous press conference brawl in February.

If reports are to be believed these two men hate each other and this is personal. The hype-machine is in full flow and Danny Dyer has even jumped on the bandwagon to promote it. Don’t be surprised if this fight gets nasty very early on.

Haye looked in distinctly better shape at the weigh-in and will recieve plenty of backing. Chisora has a solid chin and didn’t disgrace himself against Vitali Klitschko but the record shows he’s lost three of his last four bouts. That might be playing on his mind and explains why he chose to turn to Paddy for some assistance before the brawl.

IF IT WORKS FOR BENDTNER: Chisora hopes his luck will change against Haye on Saturday

Over in Las Vegas in the early hours of Sunday morning Amir Khan attempts to win his third title in the 10-stone division. Khan fights light-welterweight champion Danny Garcia for the WBC belt and is hoping to bounce-back from his controversial loss to Lamont Peterson in December.

Two very different fights that are both equally enthralling. It is likely that both bouts will start at a frantic pace and Paddy Power punters will be hoping for an early knock-out blow to cue a huge Money-Back Special.
