Liverpool have reached an agreement to sign Moroccan winger Oussama Assaidi from Dutch club Heerenveen.
The 24-year-old still has to pass a medical but should become Brendan Rodgers’ third signing since he took over from Kenny Dalglish in June.
Assaidi scored 20 goals in 68 appearances for the Dutch club — this one didn’t count but it’s still a beaut. Doing it in a game where it actually matters, against a rampaging Robert Huth, for example, will be the real test.
Interesting times for Liverpool fans.
