HAIR TO THE THROWN: Fellaini can crown a magical goalscorer treble

Two weeks in to the season and you can already see the players that are in sizzling hot form. Pitches across the country have already been lit up by some dazzling displays and thunderous strikes and we’re only a couple of games in!

Here at the Paddy Power Blog we’ve had a look at three of the league’s in-form stars who can get on the scoresheet at anytime this weekend in a tasty 32/1 treble.

Michu Perez Cuesta has lit up the League and helped Swansea win their opening two games playing some delightful football on the way. Michu, as he’s more commonly known, has scored three goals for Michael Laudrup’s team and has been a revelation since joining from Rayo Vallecano in the summer.

Swansea host Sunderland at home this weekend and are the 23/20 favourites to keep their 100% record in tact. Michu will be looking to add to his tally of goals (and fantasy football points!) for the season and is 11/2 to score first, but the 9/5 available for him to score anytime is cracking value.

Another man in top form is Marouane Fellaini. The fella with the most recognisable hair in football has scored two goals in two games and his height, strength and physical presence can cause problems again this weekend.

Everton face a West Brom team who haven’t been beaten yet this campaign but lost three times to Everton last year in the League and Cup making the Toffees 6/4 favourites for this one. Fellaini can worry the Baggies defence and he is an eye-catching 11/4 to score anytime or a whopping 8/1 to net first with Paddy Power.

Newcastle may have lost to Chelsea last week but they didn’t play badly at all and had recorded a good 2-1 victory over Tottenham on the opening weekend. Hatem Ben Arfa scored against Spurs and came close against Chelsea making the little Frenchman appealing value to find the net again in Newcastle’s match against struggling Aston Villa.

Villa are pretty woeful and haven’t won away from home in the Premier League since January. Ben Arfa is 7/1 to score first with Paddy Power or 11/5 to net any time against the midlanders.

With all three in great form in front of goal they make plenty of appeal and putting them into a little anytime goalscorer treble creates a stunning 32/1 shot with Paddy Power.
