Send Paddy your #GoEurope tweets and we’ll post them in the Medinah sky

Europe today begins a mission impossible – to claw back a 10-6 deficit against a rampant Team USA at the Ryder Cup in Medinah.

One of the main talking points has been the erratic form of stripper-loving world No2 Tiger Woods. The other, of course, has been Paddy’s sky tweets which have danced like messages from heaven through the blue Chicago sky.

Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods will not face each other as American captain Davis Love III has put Woods out last in Sunday’s singles. World No 1 McIlroy is out third against unbeaten rookie upstart Keegan Bradley.

Paddy Power is firmly in the blue corner and today in the singles Team Europe needs all the help the good Lord can must. Failing divine intervention, it’s up to the rest of us.

Here’s how to get involved…

  • Paddy Power will take to the clouds above the Medinah Country Club USA again today to continue the world’s first ‘sky tweet’ campaign in support of Team Europe at the Ryder Cup tournament
  • Send @paddypower a message on Twitter with the hashtag #GoEurope
  • Or, head to our Facebook page here
  • We’ll get the best tweets written in the SKY above Medinah!

Paddy Power said: “In previous years we have seen shocking scenes of American crowds heckling and barracking the European players. Rather than take a leaf out of the book of our noisy rivals on the course, we’ve elevated support for Team Europe to the heavens!  Our ‘sky tweets’ have given European fans the chance to have their messages seen on a massive scale, hopefully giving Olazabal and the guys a boost from home.”
