Southampton v Fulham, Live Sky Sports 1, Sunday, 1.30pm
Home form might just be the difference in this and Nigel Adkins’ side are the selection to shade it. They needed that win against Aston Villa (3-1) and that will give them plenty of confidence. Fulham are a good side this year despite losing Dembele and Clint Dempsey to Spurs. They’ve brought Dimitar Berbatov in and that’s a good move but he’s unlikely to start today.
Tottenham v Aston Villa, Sunday, 3pm
I was very close last week with predicting Spurs would get a 2-2 draw with United and that could be the launchpad for AVB at Tottenham after initial unrest among the fans. They were sloppy against Panathinaikos in mid-week and gave away a lead. I think the London side are learning lessons week-by-week though and they will be a hard side to beat at home this season. It’s a home win for me.
Liverpool v Stoke, Sunday 3pm
Brendan Rodgers’ side are really struggling for consistency. A great win against Norwich last week but so disappointing to give up a two-goal lead at home to Udinese. It’s important that they string back-to-back wins together in the Premier League. a 1-0 home win for me and I’m sure they’ll be happy with that.
