With Chelsea losing earlier in the day Alex Ferguson had a chance to increase Man United’s lead over a rival and remain at the at of the table. He doesn’t seem to have explained this properly to his Manchester United players because they had it in their heads that losing is the fashion of the day. Like adult onesies. Except losing doesn’t make you look quite as big of a loser. Which seems like a contradiction until you see the photo below. There’s also a few tweets from famous folks and fans reacting to Norwich’s 1-0 win, thanks to Anthony Pilkington’s 60th minute goal.
Piers Morgan is apparently keeping a little boy captive. Maybe he’s the one who writes Piers’ jokes.
'The little boy inside me was screaming, “how the **** can we lose to Norwich???”' #VanPursestrings

Hardcore United fan @BusbyMUFC is hardcore pissed at what he witnessed.
Didn't even look like they wanted it. @rioferdy5 can apologise all he wants on twitter but his £80k per week makes it easy for him to take.

The Mirror’s John Cross congratulates Norwich and rubs it in for United.

Blogger ManUnitedYouth was a little more esoteric but equally unimpressed.
The sky isn’t falling, but neither is it wrong to criticise an absolutely abject display that can’t just be put down as ‘an off day’.

Everyone’s favourite clever clogs and Norwich fan Stephen Fry enjoyed it a little more.

We believe this is called a negcom from parody account @_ArseneWenger.
Massive day for the underdogs. West Brom, Norwich and Liverpool all manage to pull off shock victories.
