Andy Gray’s Wednesday night treble:
Manchester City, Zenit St Petersburg and Shalke to win: 7/1

Manchester City v Real Madrid, Live on Sky Sports 2,
Wednesday, 7.45pm

This is a game where Manchester City quite simply have to win. There is still a chance they can qualify if Ajax beat Borussia Dortmund. What City have to do is win their games. They have been below their best in the Champions League but they are due a performance. Punters will fancy Real Madrid but Manchester City are a good side, and at their best they are a very good side.

Roberto Mancini can get his squad in the right frame of mind and surprise everybody by beating Madrid. Both teams will score in this game but City could have a great European night and win the game. Another 3-2, but this time to City wouldn’t be a surprise at 20/1.

Big players come and play in big games like this Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez both scored braces at the weekend which is great for City. David Silva is back in the side and can make a huge impact. Aguero and Tevez are 13/2 to open the scoring and the 11/1 on Silva to get the first goal is appealing.

Arsenal v Montpellier, Live on Sky Sports 4,
Wednesday, 7.45pm

It was a good win for the Gunners at the weekend which will boost morale going into this game. Montpellier have had a real tough time as French Champions. They have had a poor start to the campaign and are only two points above the relegation zone. They have struggled in particular away from home and Arsenal should win comfortably at 4/11.

Beating a big rival can kick-start your season and Arsenal go into this game with a confidence booster. They have to go and win again though and make it back-to-back victories.

It’s never easy to come into this league but Olivier Giroud is finding his feet and every time he steps on to the pitch you can see his confidence growing. You can see now that Arsenal have a proper centre-forward and the 7/2 is a great bet for him to score first.
