How Twitter reacted to part two of Oprah’s Lance Armstrong interview

Last night saw round two of Lance Armstrong’s interview with Oprah Winfrey featuring more not entirely convincing remorse, some crocodile tears and bizarrely a claim that his lifetime for cheating his way to seven Tour de France titles was ‘a death penalty’ of athletic punishments.

Neither Lance nor the people looking for their pound of flesh can by truly happy with what they’ve seen in the two programmes. Here’s how Twitter reacted to the second part of the Armstrong interview.

David Walsh, chief sports writer with The Sunday Times and long time (recently vindicated) Lance accuser on the possibility of getting an apology from the no-time Tour de France winner.

Kathy LeMond, wife of three time Tour de France winner and vocal anti-doping campaigner, Greg, tells of their slice of vindication after the interview.

Self confessed steriod user and Major League Baseball star, Jose Canseco puts himself forward for the role of gamekeeper thanks to his experience as a poacher.

Irish athelte, Derval O’Rourke plays a tiny Twitter violin as hearing of Lance’s financial troubles.

Oprah reminds everyone who the real/only winner out of all this was. She is.

England striker, Jay Bothroyd seems surprised to see Lance Armstrong behaving exactly like Lance Armstrong.

Comedian and chat show host, Jimmy Fallon nails it.

Comedian and TV presenter, Patrick Kielty tries his best.
