Tuesday January 29th
The snow might be holding off but the rain is falling faster than Ashley Young in the Old Trafford penalty area and race course officials are having to work harder than Mario Balotelli’s press team. Unfortunately Taunton hasn’t made it but there is no problem with the all-weather tracks and both Lingfield and Wolverhampton have cards this afternoon.
There’s also plenty of action elsewhere in South Africa and South America where the sun is not just a mythical object in the sky and summer is a real season that lasts longer than three-and-a-half days.
Paddy Power has got live streaming of the racing from abroad so you can sit back, relax, watch the racing and dream of living somewhere where the climate means you don’t have to wear three pairs of socks in the morning.
Lingfield: Seven races on the all-weather, 1.20pm-4.20pm
Wolverhampton: Eight races on the all-weather, 2.00pm-5.30pm
Vaal: Eight race meeting, 10.50am-3.00pm
Greyville: Eight race meeting, 3.20pm-7.30pm
La Plata: 10 race meeting, 6.00pm-10.00pm
