Manchester City are 9/5 favourites with Paddy Power to lift the FA Cup while Manchester United (9/4) and Chelsea (5/1) are on course for a quarter-final clash after Sunday night’s draw.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s side must overcome Reading (100/1) on Monday night and the Blues face a trip to Middlesbrough (175/1) on Wednesday week before the glamour tie of the round is confirmed.
United will rest most of the side that drew 1-1 away to Real Madrid last week ahead of the visit of Brian McDermott’s side as they chase a Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup treble.
Normal service was resumed in the competition on Sunday as Premier League side’s Chelsea, Manchester City and Wigan all won.
Chelsea came through their fourth-round quarter-final reply against Brentford (4-0) and are course for their fifth FA Cup triumph in seven seasons.
Manchester City’s reward for beating Leeds 4-0 in the Emirates is a quarter final tie against Championship strugglers Barnsley (175/1) in what is beleagured City boss Roberto Mancini’s only hope of silverware this season.
While Blackburn Rovers (40/1) reward for dumping Arsenal out of the competition on Saturday is a trip to fellow Champiomship side Millwall (40/1).
Whoever emerges from the Everton (4/1)/Oldham (250/1) replay has a home tie against Wigan (22/1) to look forward to after they beat Huddersfield 4-1 away on Sunday.
