Given the rain, sleet and snow that has battered Britian’s and Ireland’s racing schedule has now turned its attention to the WGC Match Play Championship in Arizona it’s not surprising that three meetings in the UK at Ayr, Huntingdon and Sedgefield face inspections today.
It’s getting too close to Cheltenham 2013 and hopefully the temperatures at the Cotswolds don’t plummet in the next week or two ahead of the Olympics of National Hunt racing.
Clonmel in Ireland and the twilight meeting at Kempton should go ahead as planned but Paddy’s fond on Factor 20 and has signed up racing from South Africa, South America and Dubai so he can get a free junket to warmer climates when the rest of us are freezing our stones off.
