Cheltenham Festival 2013 | Paddy Power’s Lucky Pants
When it comes to adding a cheeky bit of mischief to the greatest racing Festival of the year Paddy Power is the man to turn too.
There’s nothing Paddy enjoys more than a cheeky bit of fun and the result was the largest pair of flying Lucky Pants the world has ever seen. The green jocks floated over the famous racecourse and offered race-goers the best seat in the house.
The balloon stands at a whopping 63ft high and 60ft wide. It uses more than 3,600 sq ft of material, holds 115,000 cubic feet of air and boasts a belt-busting waistband of 2,260 inches.
It took more than six months of planning down the pub and a team of top engineers and balloon-experts to get our Lucky Pants airborne. This is the result.
