The only three certainties in life are death, taxes, and San Marino getting thumped in World Cup Qualifiers.

The International breaks don’t tend to throw up many mouth-watering fixtures. ‘Let’s all meet in the pub nice and early to get a good seat for Algeria v Benin’, is something I have never heard anybody say. Ever.

It’s like Christmas, birthdays, Bar Mitzvahs and a strip-tease off Michelle Keegan rolled into one for punters who like backing odds-on favourites though. There are plenty of them in the international break as students, barmen and receptionists have to kit-up to represent some far-flung holiday destination and play previous world champions.

Seven-fold accumulators at even money probably isn’t the way to get rich quick but these selection of games look reasonably solid. Floyd Mayweather would have to have a sizeable amount of loose change down the back of his couch to think about backing Poland at 1/100 or Germany at 1/50. But bunging them together with five other odds-on shots gives you a chance to double your money with an International acca.

Estonia 1/9 v Andorra

Egypt 1/5 v Zimbabwe

Ukraine 1/8 v Moldova

Poland 1/100 v San Marino

Malta v Italy 1/20

Germany 1/50 v Kazakhstan

Belgium 2/9 v Macedonia

The seven-fold acca pays out even money

The shrewdest of punters would be looking at the handicaps in these games to find the value. Italy are 1/20 to beat Malta in the Ta’Qali Stadium but are a far more attractive 1/4 to win by two goals or more, covering the -1 handicap. Throwing a few of those prices in would make this seven-fold a far more appealing price.

50 Cent is a rapper who likes ‘to get rich or die trying’ and this seven-fold acca could be the easiest way for him to turn £10 into £20 on a Tuesday evening.
