Wonderful tries, hard tackling and a last-gasp slip up by Kurtley Beale saw the Lions run out  23-21 winners in the first Test in Brisbane earlier today.

The visitors are now in the driving seat to record their first series win since 1997 ahead of next Saturday’s second test to come in Melbourne.

Leigh Halfpenny’s penalty put the visitors 20-12 ahead (take a bow Andy McGeady) with 15 minutes left before Beale responded with two penalties – before his last kick-of-the-game howler.
