Unless you live in a cave with no human contact or 3G service, you’re probably aware that Kate and Wills have had a little boy. Now Paddy Power is offering to give customers their money back on bets placed on the Royal Baby name, if the little Prince is given the same name as them.
The offer comes less than 24 hours after the bookmaker was stunned by the birth of the little lad after they had prematurely paid out on the nipper being a girl a few months ago.
It’s great news if you’re a George or Alexander, although if you’re a Rumplestiltskin you’ll probably swerve this offer.
George remains the clear favourite to be the youngster’s name having moved from 5/2 into 7/4 while John (80/1 to 40/1), Francis (80/1 to 33/1) and Michael (66/1 to 40/1) have been the big movers of the day.
The name of the Royal Baby
- 7/4 – George
- 4/1 – James
- 9/1 – Alexander
- 10/1 – Louis
- 12/1 – Arthur
- 14/1 – Henry
- 20/1 – Philip
- 20/1 – Richard
Unfortunately it is still an unlikely 80/1 for there to be a Prince Paddy but Wills and Kate could have another surprise in store for us yet.
The good news is, whichever name your backing, you’re guaranteed to get your money back if the Royal baby is named after you.
