How RVP handed David Moyes his first bit of silverware (and money back for Paddy Power customers)

by Paddy Power Admin | August 11, 2013

It took Robin van Persie all of six minutes to find the net in the Community Shield. Here’s the header that gave Manchester United a 1-0 lead over Wigan. It finished 2-0 with a second RVP goal for a result which was about as predictable as James McClean dropping down a division.

Paddy Power started the season as we mean to continue – with big offers that make little economic sense to the company. We’d offered Money Back If Robin van Persie scored the last goal and so a refund has now kicked in on all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score & Scorecast singles on the match.

RVP followed up with a deflected strike in the second half to hand David Moyes his first, and possibly only piece of silverware, as Manchester United manager.

Still, it’s more than Arsenal can boast recently, eh?
