Just three weeks to go in the NFL regular season and only one team has secured a play-off place and it seems like every team still has a chance of doing so.
In fact in the NFC you can go as far down as the St Louis Rams in 12th and the numbers still work. IN the AFC 13 of the 16 teams can mathematically still make it to the post-season. That’s like making it to March in the Premier League and every team above the relegation zone still being in the mix for a Champions League place.
We should see a few fates sealed this weekend and our Las Vegas experts Pat Williams and Kenny White talk you through this Sunday’s three live games, as well as telling you how you can win a £/€350 free bet.
First up the Philadelphia Eagles host the Detroit Lions. The Eagles are riding a four game win streak on the back of Nick Foles’ play at quarter-back. Not just is he proving more consistent that Michael Vick but you can also trust him to mind your dog if you go away for a weekend. (Sun 6pm Sky Sports 2)
Next up is one of the games of the weekend between the San Francisco 49ers and the play-off bound Seattle Seahawks. Both teams are serious Super Bowl contenders and this may not be the last time they meet this season. (Sun 9.25pm Sky sports 2)
Finally the streaking Carolina Panthers take on the faltering New Orleans Saints in what could prove to be the NFC North decider. Both teams are sitting on 9-3 records but the Saints will need to break Carolina’s 8-game winning rub to take the upper hand. (Mon. 1.30am Channel 4)
