It was all going so well for the Kansas City Chiefs last night in their Wildcard round against the Indianapolis Colts.
Donnie Avery’s 79 yard touchdown (below) from Alex Smith’s laser-guided pass was of three TD’s the Chiefs scored in the first half on the way to a 31-10 half-time lead.
So far – so very good. Problem was – the Colts weren’t done. With Avery suffering concussion later and three other Chiefs getting injured – the Colts stormed back.
A second-half rally saw them pull off a Crystal Palace-style revival from 28 points down to win 45-44 at the buzzer.
