The meeting kicks off with the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle (1.30) and Paddy Power is facing a meltdown in the first race on the first day by giving money back on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th-placed finishers.
Irving is the hot tip and the traders report three times as much dosh on this favourite in the last fortnight – but he’s on the drift this morning and could be a play at 3/1.
The Irish challenge is deep and Willie Mullins will want to get off the mark early with either Vautour or Wicklow Brave before Hurricane Fly goes for his third win in the Champion Hurdle (3.20).

The Blog’s Aidan Elder has strapped himself in with just enough room to move his fingers and will be LIVE BLOGGING all the action – on and more importantly, off the track.
