Millions are up for grabs in the Scoop6 this weekend and while if we happened to win the big pot Paddy won’t have to pay us out I think we should still have a go! You hear me Paddy? You are safe this time.
Now of course I am not going to be stupid enough to say these six will scoop the pot, but you might want to add one or two of them to your thoughts.
Leg 1: 1.45pm Newmarket
All the runners have a chance here so a nightmare start as the organisers would have liked. Maybe chuck in Duke Of Destiny, who goes on turf and will have blown a few cobwebs away last time.
Leg 2: 2.40pm Newbury
Modern Tutor was in good form when last seen. It’s asking a lot for him to win this off a mark of 93 first time out but he could be an improving horse.
Leg 3: 2.55pm Newmarket
Aeolus ran on well at Newmarket in a small field last time and is in good form. He’s high enough on the handicap, but fingers crossed.
Leg 4: 3.25pm Thirsk
Imperial Legend has topweight here but has been dropped 2lb for a comeback run which was far from terrible and he might just outclass this lot.
Leg 5: 3.30pm Newmarket
By now we are getting excited after four legs up! Stomp is improving fast and related to some good sprinters by trainer by Roger Charlton. Back on turf but that should not be a problem judged on the Windsor win.
Leg 6: 4.00pm Thirsk
Save The Bees ran really well last time and might be still improving after a spell over hurdles. At least he will run right to the line and give you a chance.
So good luck everyone. Rest assured, even if I win I will be back here soon with another blog. It’s just how I roll. Yeeehaaa!
