ANDY GRAY: Bank on Manchester United bouncing back, but Liverpool will get the blues at City

by Aidan Elder | August 22, 2014

After one week of pitting Andy Gray’s predictions against the most popular bets of the Paddy Power punters and asking ‘Are You* Smarter Than Andy Gray? (You plural)’, we established that you’re exactly as smart as Andy Gray. Well, you didn’t blow a cushy job with Sky Sports due to some sexist comments, so we could say you’re ahead on the tiebreaker. The scores on the doors are:

Andy Gray 7 – 7 You* (you plural)

No-one really saw the Swansea victory at Old Trafford coming, but most of the other results went largely to plan. Either went to plan or we didn’t care much about them, not looking at any Stoke v Villa in particular. If you’re very bored, you can get a recap of week one’s soothsaying here. So once again, Andy Gray is whipping out his crystal ball and taking on the might of the Paddy Power customers. It’s like the Royal Rumble of football predictions. Who’ll be left standing at the end of it all and who’ll be getting a light metal fold-up chair in the back? Let’s find out. 681x94_acca_bonus =====================================================

  • Villa claimed a good win at Stoke, but home form as been a problem for the last couple of years
  • Newcastle lost to the champions. Weren’t that bad and have a good record at Villa Park
  • A win for Villa would be huge, but I’m going for a draw
