VINE: Thierry Henry scores this cracker for New York Red Bulls – Luke Shaw googles name

Ex Gunners' legend rolls back the years in MLS

by Sean Goff | September 7, 2014

It probably won’t mean much to Luke Shaw but former Arsenal ace Thierry Henry had his shooting boots on in the MLS last night.

The New York Red Bulls (NYRB) captain was switched to the left wing for the game against Sporting Kansas City and fired in this rocket to give his side a 2-0 lead – and put himself in the frame for Goal of the Year.

The win moved NYRB into fifth place in the conference and confirmed the 37-year-old still has what it takes as his career enters extra-time.

Over to you Danny Welbeck.

Hat tip to Kaanozc for the Vine
