Here’s six life-changing selections for the £4m Scoop 6 rollover

A cracking weekend's racing in prospect with the final Classics of the season and the Irish Champion Stakes

by Paddy Power | September 11, 2014

The English & Irish St Legers and the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown are the headline races – but there’s also a £4m Scoop 6 rolloverto have a bash at.

We’ve already refunded all ante-post stakes on Australia for the Champion Stakes – and it’ll be a shock if Aidan O’Brien’s dual Derby winner is beaten on the day.

I’ve gotten the lads to pick out some Scoop 6 selections (below) but for a standalone bet I think there’s one in the Group 3 Enterprise Stakes at Leopardstown.

One time Epsom Derby favourite Free Eagle makes his comeback after injury curtailed his season. But with his prolonged layoff Dermot Weld’s colt is probably worth taking on at the prices.

Paul Deegan’s Prince of All is an imposing type and looks likely to improve and finished seventh on his last start at Royal Ascot. He could be the sporting each-way alternative to a likely short-priced favourite.

Race 1: Chester 2.20: 5 Mehdi

Made an encouraging debut for new stable latest. Should go well from reasonable draw.

Race 2 : Doncaster 2.40 8 Muthmir

Unexposed and the unusual five and a half furlong trip looks ideal.

Race 3: Doncaster 3.50: 12 Snow Sky

Still learning about the game but should relish trip.

Doncaster St Leger MBS

Race 4: Doncaster 4.25: 9 Mount Logan

The only three-year-old in this handicap catches the eye. Repeat of his last run probably good enough.

Race 5: Leopardstown 4.40: 14 Silwana

Could easily prove a Group horse in time lurking in this handicap.

Race 6: Doncaster 5.00: 6 Shaakis

Posted a solid effort latest despite not enjoying a smooth passage and should run well.
