Arsenal v Tottenham: Can Arsene Wenger Gunner down another new Spurs boss?

by Rob Dore | September 25, 2014

Daniel Levy keeps lining them up and Arsene Wenger keeps knocking them down. During his 18 tenure at the Emirates Stadium Wenger has seen ten full-time managers given their marching papers at White Hart Lane. One of them, Jacques Santini, had such a short and unsuccessful time at London he didn’t even get to face off against his compatriot.

From Gerry Francis through to Tim Sherwood, Wenger has taken on nine different Spurs managers winning six and drawing three of those first meetings.

Martin Jol gave it a good go but his side lost 5-4, everyone’s favourite dodgy car dealer Harry redknapp pushed him closer with a 4-4 draw but poor old AVB was throttled 5-2.

How will the newest newboy Mauricio Pochettino fare in his first North London derby?
