Paddy Power customer turns a £10 into £1,275 for the weekend thanks to some late, late goals

by Paul Mallon | October 25, 2014

First off, this is not a monster win, but it’s the circumstances. Some guys have all the luck, and then some.

This British customer turned his tenner bet into a tidy £1,275 win on Thursday night. Plus, he got a special Paddy Power bonus of £250.

He bet on a series of W-D-W results with Both Teams to Score, a new Paddy Power market.

He did it thanks to an 81st minute goal as Astra Giurgiu made things nervous for Celtic in their 2-1 win.

Then there was an 89th Minute consolation goal due to an outfield player being in goal for Spurs, after Hugo Lloris got his marching orders in the final minutes. It seems scoring a hat-trick does not make you a good goalkeeper. Or even a decent goalkeeper. Sorry Harry.

And just to make things extra nerve-wracking, Dinamo Moscow waited until the 96th minute to snatch a winner against PSV.

Sometimes it’s just your day. Will it be yours today?
