The Paddy Power Traders: Forget Ruby Walsh, we’ve got the inside track and here are our 10 to follow for the jumps season

The traders in Power Tower are an awfully competitive bunch, so when they saw Ruby Walsh publish his 10 to follow on the Paddy Power Blog, they were determined to pit their wits against the top jockey...

1) MORE OF THAT. Beat the supposed unbeatable Annie Power in last years World Hurdle and looks like he could dominate a weak looking staying division this year.

2) CHAMPAGNE FEVER (below). Still have sleepless nights about him getting beat in last years Arkle. The word is he will be upped to 3m for a trip to Kempton at Christmas before a possible tilt at the Gold Cup.

3) DON POLI. Massive improver towards the back end of last year and looks a horse made for fences.

4) UN DE SCEAUX. Goes in the ‘could be anything’ category and judging by how easily he took to the hurdling in Auteuil, fences wont be an issue.

5) HOLYWELL (below). Looks a real player for next year’s Gold Cup based on his demolition job at Aintree last April.

6) MOON RACER. Very impressive in two bumper wins to date and could be a horse with a big future over hurdles for Mr. Pipe.

7) ALISIER D’IRLANDE. Very impressive point-to-point start. He cost 300k at the sales and is sure to progress through the novice ranks for a top yard.

8) TELL US MORE. It may not have been the greatest bumper he won at Gowran, but he couldn’t have been more impressive and has to be one Mr. O Leary is getting jiggy about for the year ahead.

9) FINGAL BAY (above). Great training performance by Philip Hobbs to get him back to win the Pertemps after an injury & looks to have a great chance in the Hennessy.

10) QUICK JACK. Beaten into 3rd in the Cesarewitch last day at Newmarket off 94 confirms how attractive a hurdles mark of 125 could be.
