Matt Chapman: This 10/3 shot still has the all moves for Nottingham’s Sky dogs

With no domestic horse racing we need a chance to take some cash of Paddy - and Tuesday's live greyhound action is it. You hear me Paddy?

by Matt Chapman | December 23, 2014

It’s the huge Greyhound Track Championship Grand Final at Nottingham today and I’m as pumped as a pumped thing as we prepare on Sky Sports 1.

Let’s have a quick look race-by-race.

ROMANY ROUGE (T6)  can be a bit slow away but if this hound gets out OK today will be very hard to beat.
Magical Reid will be a big fancy but this one might be better drawn towards the rail. Take a chance with BALLYHOE CODE (T5) who will be finishing off best of all.
PATTERDALE JAZZ (T5) is an old-age-pensioner, but still retains plenty of zest for the game and will be hard to beat with a clear run.
Take a chance here with ZULU BARAN (T4), who might have a bit more speed than big dangers traps 1 and 5. They stay real strong but we might be away and gone.
BALLYMAC BART will have to do it at Nottingham rather than Sheffield, but if getting out in its usual style could fly round in front.

BAR MONROE pings from the boxes and provided this greyhound is away in usual style will be very hard to catch.
CUIL LIAM (T5) looks like a greyhound with blinding early pace and with Trap 6 often slow away has a great chance of getting to the front.
Nap of the meeting. BIDDYS FIRE (T6) is full of class and pace in this line up and should burn them away in the early stages.
SANDYHILL HITMAN (T3) is going to have to trap clever from the middle of the pack but if getting loose will be hard to control.
If Biddys Fire is the Nap, then DROOPYS TAMERA (T6) is the NB. A strong running hound, if this one turns handy then will be very hard to beat.
So see you later on Sky Sports 1. And here’s hoping for plenty of Yeeehaaa!
