Well not quite, but it certainly sums up the attitude of some Southampton fans after an erratic performance from the man in yellow, Kevin Friend in the course of their 2-0 defeat to Liverpool. The referee turned down three good shouts for penalties while also giving Simon Mignolet the benefit of the doubt for a possible handball outside the penalty area.
In fairness, Liverpool were denied a stonewall penalty of their own and in reality, the defeat had more to do with Southampton’s ineffective strikeforce, but that didn’t stop Friend from being the subject of anger on Twitter.

In his post-match interview, Brendan Rodgers said “I thought Kevin was excellent. I thought all his decisions were correct” in a piece of judgement almost as sensible as paying £16 million to bring Mario Balotelli into your squad.
