The much anticipated main event between women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and number one contender Cat Zingano was over faster than you could say: “I wonder if she’ll win by armba…ah, I guess she will.”
Rousey finished the over-eager Zingano with her trademark arm-bar in a mere fourteen seconds. Which means her last four fights have lasted a combined two minutes and thirty-four seconds.
Thankfully there had been plenty of quality action on the UFC 184 card in LA on saturday night so the fans didn’t feel short changed by Rousey’s rapid-fire finish.
The first of our two vines sees welterweight Alan Jouban finishing Australia’s Richard Walsh. After a firey opening in which both men landed solid shots, Jouban perfectly timed an elbow to rock Walsh, before finishing him off with punches.
Earlier in the night Tim Means made it three wins in-a-row with this finish of Dhiego Lima. The beginning of the end came with a well placed straight left, buckling Lima against the fence. Means jumped on his opponent and a flurry of shots compelled the referee to step in a stop the fight.
