Andy Gray: Chelsea, West Brom and Swansea to deliver a 10/3 treble

by Andy Gray | April 3, 2015

A good week from Andy this time round as he managed to pip you lot by a single game. Six correct scoring’s saw Andy extend his lead at the top by five points. All that banter with Richard Keys is clearly helping.

So as we stand the e-scores on the e-doors are:

Andy Gray 139 – 134 You* (*you plural)

The game is simples. One point is awarded per correct prediction, regardless of the odds associated with it and as we go, we add them all up to see who is smarter. Well, we probably know who is smarter because none of the Paddy Power customers lost their cushy punditry job for making sexually inappropriate remarks, but we want to see who can give the best Premier League betting tips this weekend. Once more into the crystal-ball gazing.

==============================================================================

Andy’s treble: Swansea, West Brom, Chelsea – 10/3

Andy’s four to score anytime: Lukaku, Rooney, Bony, Costa – 15/1

You say: Arsenal, Man United, Chelsea – 85/40

Arsenal v Liverpool
Saturday 12.45pm – BT Sports 1

Raheem Sterling is still throwing his toys out of the pram, but he’ll want to be on his best behavior in front of Arsene Wenger. He could be playing under him next season.

Andy says:

  • Great game after the internationals to start the weekend. The fans will be up for it.
  • Liverpool will go for the win which should make it a good game to watch
  • If Liverpool don’t win they won’t be able to catch Arsenal.

Andy’s bets: ARSENAL 2-1 Giroud as first goalscorer. Sanchez is due a goal, but you have to wait and see the team.

You say: ARSENAL

  • Their away form has been good, but their home form has let them down

Andy’s bets: EVERTON 1-0 I hope I’m not letting my heart rule my head, but I don’t think it’ll be a goalfest.

Chelsea v Stoke
Saturday 5.30pm, Sky Sports 1

Diego Costa has been warned to watch out for Ryan Shawcross, but he was too busy stealing sweets from children to notice. Mourinho will be expecting three points to extended the lead at the top.

Andy says:

  • Another three points is what Mourinho will be saying
  • Hughes has done well with Stoke, but a disappointing result last time out to Palace

Andy’s bets: CHELSEA not many goals so I think 2-0. Top scorer Costa to get the first goal.

Sunderland v Newcastle
Sunday 4pm, Sky Sports 1

Advocaat and Carver go into their first derby as mangers, but as Andy point’s out both teams are a bit carp so don’t expect much.

Andy says:

  • If ever Sunderland needed to keep this run against Newcastle it’s now
  • If they lose Advocaat could have a job on his hands picking his side up
  • Newcastle aren’t good enough to beat Sunderland away

Andy’s bets: DRAW I think Fletcher will nab the first after the hat-tick in midweek
