Top jockey Ruby Walsh, racing pundit Matt Chapman, Cheltenham legend Turftalk Tom and our strange and mysterious trader on the first floor all go head-to-head and to-to-toe in the tipping stakes at Aintree this week.
Thursday was a mixed bag – with Turftalk Tom particularly impressing with a double on Silviniaco Conti (7/4) and On The Fringe (5/2). Chapman and Ruby got a winner each while the PP Trader chipped in with Jezki (3/1) as well, although the well backed Hargam (4/6) was a disappointment in the opening race on TV. There is another top class card on Friday and hopefully our crack team of tipsters will be able to provide us with a few quid to hit the pub with come 5.00pm.
The general consesus seems to suggest that Glingerburn and Champagne Fever are good things, while Saphir De Rheu and Minella Rocco also get a couple of votes apiece.
