Mixed martial arts legend Dan Henderson proved that age is nothing more than a number at Fight Night 68, as the 44-year-old ended Tim Boetsch’s evening in under half a minute.
Henderson went into Saturday night’s main event as the 6/4 outsider, and considering he’d won just one of his last five bouts, it was understandable why people weren’t exactly scrambling over each other to back Hendo. Many predicted that Boetsch – 10 years Hendo’s junior – would win with a stoppage, but that prophecy went south as fast as Boetsch’s head once his opponent unleashed the H Bomb.
Some fight fans were predicting this might be Henderson’s last appearance inside the octagon, but he put those rumours to sleep with a devastating flurry of punches. Your Sunday hangover will pale into insignificance once you’ve watched this uppercut that ended the bout and caused Boetsch to face-plant the canvas. Boom.
