Punting Hall of Fame: Somebody just won an outrageous £39k thanks to the mother of all accumulators on a Sports Betting Terminal

Every so often a person comes along and just blows our mind with the amount of correct calls they make.

by David Lyons | June 15, 2015

Fortunately for you, that is exactly the story we are going to tell you about! Our jammy dodger correctly picked 18 outcomes from games stretching back to the start of June.

This magnificent feat was carried out on a Sports Betting Terminal in one of our UK shops… little did our punter know that 13 days later he would be in the market for a huge holiday, a brand new car or even a boat!

Our lucky punter didn’t just stick to well known matches, oh no – u20 World Cup, Copa America and Ladies World Cup being just some of those ticked off by our bettor.

Here is the complete list:

  1. Hungary u20 v Brazil u20
  2. Germany u20 v Uzbekistan u20
  3. Juventus v Barcelona
  4. Racing Club v Velez Sarsfield
  5. Boca Juniors v Newells Old Boy
  6. France v Belgium
  7. Columbia v Costa Rica
  8. Germany (Womens) v Ivory Coast (W)
  9. Argentina v Bolivia
  10. Latvia v Netherlands
  11. Kazakhstan v Turkey
  12. Armenia v Portugal
  13. Poland v Georgia
  14. Uruguay v Jamaica
  15. Gibraltar v Germany
  16. Brazil v Peru
  17. Slovenia v England
  18. Belarus v Spain

I’m sure looking at that list now we can all go “Ahh yeah, they all seem like solid enough bets”, but there was a few hairy moments for our customer as he was made to sweat on his £100 bet with a few of the games.

The very first game saw the Brazil u20s need an 86th winner from United‘s Pereira to come from behind to snatch a 2-1 win over Hungary. Barca were made to work hard for their Champions League final win over Juve, while not many would have predicted a Falcao goal in Columbia‘s win over Costa Rica, or for the France and Belgium game to be the Fellaini show.

Turkey needed an 83rd minute winner, while both Portugal and Brazil needed to come from behind to ensure victory. Everything looked to be rosy, but England almost threw away their three points against Slovenia following a late flurry of goals, only for Wayne Rooney to step up and ensure that England were not the only winners this weekend.
