Jordan is 25/1 to leave us all Spiethless and collect golf’s grand slam in 2015

by David Lyons | June 22, 2015

While most of us were on our way home from another late night Sunday boozing gym session, Jordan Spieth collected the second major of his career. He’s now made it two from two in Majors this year, after clinching the US Open in the early hours of this morning.

Did you know that he was born in July 1993. That makes him still only 21. Twenty One people… what had you achieved by 21? I had just about perfected the art of smoked beans on burnt toast.

It was like watching Happy Gilmore on the green when fellow American Dustin Johnson blew his chances of a first Major by three-putting the 18th.

DJ handed it to Spieth on a plate. He even brought the salt and pepper and now as harsh as it may seem, we now make it 13/8 for DJ to never win a Major.

Next up for the Friday Night Lights fella is a trip to St. Andrews. Paddy Power is offering 25/1 for Spieth to complete the slam this year by winning the British Open and PGA Championship.

We’re also offering 5/4 for Spieth to overtake Rory McIlroy as World No.1 this year, and 15/8 for the American to win more career Majors than the Northern Irishman.
