TV Tips Cheat Sheet: Turn on, tune in and make hay as our racing experts mark your card at Goodwood and Newmarket

Matt Chapman, Paddy Power, Turftalk Tom and a mysterious secret racing trader are back with a whole host of tips for Saturday's racing - and for once they're all in agreement

by Josh Powell | July 31, 2015

Friday proved to be a tough day for our tipping team with a whole load of placed efforts, but not many winners to shout about. Fortunately their egos are tougher than Conor McGregor, and it takes a lot more than few dodgy runners to stop their enthusiasm. Saturday is a new day, and another chance to bag a few winners on a top day of action at Goodwood and Newmarket. If you haven’t done your form study, do not worry because our crack team of tipsters are delivering the goods.

Racing pundit and excitable bloke Matt Chapman, the boss and part-time pole-dancer Paddy Power, horse-whisperer and race-track gossiper Turftalk Tom and our very own mysterious trader we keep in the basement. these are the four guys making up our tipping team, and hopefully providing you with some winners on Saturday afternoon.

Everybody had at least a couple of places on Thursday afternoon, and with a bit of luck in-running The Corsican should have got Turftalk Tom and the PP Trader off to a flyer. Luckily Matt Chapman came up trumps with 3/1 shot Muthmir winning the King George Stakes. Our guys are hoping for more joy with these Saturday tips.

Everyone is in agreement that Legatissimo (15/8) is the banker of the day in the 3.10pm at Goodwood, while other than that it is a fairly mixed bag in a trappy day of racing. Turftalk Tom and the PP Trader have cuddled up together and plumped for Endless Time in the 2.15pm, while the trader and Matt Chapman both fancy Blossomtime in the 2.50pm. Apart from that there is very little agreement as our tipsters see eye-to-eye as often as the Gallagher brothers.
