We are well and truly underway way in the Championship now. With three games gone in the Championship is still as predictable as what’s going to come out of Paul Merson’s mouth next. But as usual there is money to be
96th minute. Sixth minute of four minutes added on. I had Leeds backed to win 2-1 with the beautiful Mirco Antenucci to score first and that
fool lovely bloke Gavin Ward kept adding on time for Leeds third draw of the season. Leeds need a win and after Chris Wood finally broke his duck at Ashton Gate Leeds will be confident going into this derby.

Wednesday have a draw, win and loss from the opening day and if they can get a draw like last season they will travel home happy. But four losses and only one win from their last seven trips to Elland Road and keeper Keiren Westwood having already made two direct errors leading to goals this season Leeds have a great chance to nick a win.
Bolton v Nottingham
Forest Forest win @ 15/8
Tough one to call. Both sides will be looking to improve on last season, but both have started lethargy or in Bolton’s case downright shit. One draw from their first four games of the season makes for dire viewing and no wins in six against Forest won’t fill them with confidence. That being said four were draws so you never know.
Forest have been OK so far. They missed Assombalonga when he was injured last season and won’t have him back until next year. They haven’t repalced him and could struggle to break the top six this season if they don’t bring someone in. Henri Lansbury has scored two and assist one in four appearances against Bolton for Forest so first goalscorer at 10/1 looks nice.
Middlesbrough v Bristol City
Boro win @ 4/7
Boro are the favourites for the league, but haven’t been showing why they are just yet. I’m expecting big things from them. The signing of Stuart Downing was a signal of intent, but they need to back it up. They’ve lost two of their last three against the Robins and need to win to push back up to the top two of the season. Kike is on fire at the moment with three from three so at 9/2 he’s the man to back.
Robbed three points from Leeds during the week and £150 from me, but that’s beside the point. In dire need of a win. Made a statement with the bid for Andre Gray, but failed to tie up the deal which makes you wonder how confident they really are of staying up. Boro to win this one easily enough.
QPR v Rotherham
QPR win @ 8/11
I said at midweek that if Austin left QPR would have no one to score the goals. Well step right up Matty Phillips to bury to great goals. QPR are a yo-yo team, but at the moment Charlie Austin is still there which means the goals are still there. Phillips has scored or made a goal in 15 of his 18 games in 2015. 9/4 anytime maybe? The Millers haven’t won at QPR since 1951 and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Losing Ben Pringle was a big loss and their main creative force. Steve Evan, the fat sombrero wearing moron, was lucky to keep them up last year. He won’t do it again. QPR to win by two or three.
Cardiff v Wolves
Wolves win @ 13/8
This is going to be very, very close. Losing to QPR would have hurt for Wolves. They were expected to win that game to show they are a top team. They will want a reaction and three wins from their last four visits to Cardiff will inspire confidence. Benik Afobe is the best young striker in the Championship and will want to show it again. 5/1 to grab the opener is very appealing.
Wolves fans, what are you looking forward to today? Perhaps the moment when you’re so drunk, you’ve forgotten all your woes?

Cardiff are a strange one. An awful season last year they will want and are expected to be challenging for promotion this year. Three draws so far is not what they were looking for and in a league where slip ups are punished they can afford few more. They need to start winning. Unfortunately it’s not going to happen today.
