Chelsea v Liverpool, Saturday 12:45

I fancy Chelsea. They’re still at home and they have a chance. There’s nothing that suggests Liverpool have changed there’s any change. Klopp will take time and the players will take time to find out what he wants and to play the way he wants. Liverpool are struggling at the moment to score goals. They don’t look a team that are creating chances and I think that will continue. I think Chelsea will respond this weekend. They can’t go much lower than last week. Mourinho sent off, assistant sent off, Matic sent off. For me that was when the season came to a head for Mourinho.

Jose Mourinho

I’m going for a Chelsea 2-0 win because I don’t think that Liverpool will or can score. If Costa starts I’d be looking at him to score the first goal. Don’t discount the centre backs in a game like this. A tight, tough game the first goal could come from Terry, Cahill or Zouma from a set play.

Swansea v Arsenal, Saturday 15:00

Arsenal are in a very good place at the moment. I know they lost to Sheffield Wednesday in midweek in the League Cup, but that won’t bother them. Arsenal are the best in the league at beating the smaller teams. They don’t always have the best record against the top sides, but there’s no one better than Arsenal at beating the smaller teams. The likes of Swansea, the West Hams teams like that.

It won’t be easy. Swansea aren’t what they were. Garry Monk has a few problems. His teams aren’t playing the way they were at the beginning of the season. I’m looking at a 2-1 for Arsenal. If Giroud starts I’d back him. If he doesn’t Alexis Sanchez is always a threat.

Manchester City v Norwich, Saturday 15:00

Man City are the obvious banker here. They have been incredible so far this season and trounced Newcastle and Bournemouth in their last couple of games. Kevin De Bruyne has been fantastic since he joined in the summer. City will win this one easy and De Bruyne to bag the first goal.

West Brom v Leicester, Saturday 15:00

Leicester are favorites to win this one, but I fancy West Brom to just shade it. They’ve been playing well and had a good win against Norwich last time out. Solomon Rondon has been banging them in and is the best bet for a first goalscorer.

Everton v Sunderland, Sunday 13:30

I think the Toffees will beat Sunderland. I don’t think Sunderland were all that impressive against Newcastle even though they won 3-0. Everton need a performance and I think they’ll get one.

Lukaku correct size

I’m looking at a 2-0 for Everton and if I was really optimistic 3-0. You’d be looking at Lukaku for the first goalscorer. If you want a bit more value for your bet Ross Barkley is due a goal. He doesn’t get enough and I think he might get one this weekend.

Southampton v Bournemouth, Sunday 16:00

I think the Saints are playing well at the moment and Bournemouth are not. I don’t think they’ll fancy a trip to Saint Mary’s. They’re finding life in the Premier League very difficult. They’ve taken a couple of hidings against City and Spurs.

I don’t think they’ll get a hiding, but I do think that Southampton will win 3-1 or 3-0. To me that’s how much I think Southampton are better. Mane, Pelle or Tadic are the three players I’d be taking a punt on for first goalscorer.

Spurs v Aston Villa, Monday 20:00

The odds reflect the position of both teams. I think that Villa are really struggling for both confidence and belief. Spurs are getting better and better. They tore Bournemouth apart last week. I don’t think they’ll beat Villa 5-1, but I do think they’ll win easily.

I can’t see Villa changing their fortunes in a week. I think Spurs will win 2-0. Harry Kane scored a hat trick last week and he’s the obvious choice for the first goal.
