Jose Mourinho’s time could be up after Chelsea’s 3-1 loss to Liverpool

Chelsea have had their worst start in 30 years and after a 3-1 loss against Liverpool is the Special One's time up?

by Paddy Power | October 31, 2015

Chelsea have made their worst start to a season since the clubs foundation 12 years ago and the self-proclaimed Special One is starting to feel the pressure. 11 points from 10 games is sack form for most clubs never mind the defending champions. Chelsea had eight wins under their belt at this stage last season, but have only managed three wins in the same period this year.

Since the inevitable sacking of Tim Sherwood Jose is now the favourite to be sacked at . This is the guy that won the league last season and was red hot favourite to retain the title. Now they can’t beat Newcastle. Who lost to Sunderland. 3-0.

Yet another poor performance at home against will do nothing to help Mourinho keep his job with a chairman that has sacked the man who brought him the clubs first Champions League title in Roberto Di Matteo, the man who won the clubs first league and cup double in Ancelotti and the man who brought them to second in the table and a Champions League Final in Avram Grant.

Roberto Di Matteo won the F.A Cup and the Champions League in the space of three months, but was sacked five months later with twice the amount of points at the same stage in the season.

A 3-1 loss to a Liverpool side that had failed to score more than one goal in a single game this season looks like it could be the final nail in the coffin for the Special One. That’s six losses in the league now and his chances of being Chelsea manager at Christmas are on par with my chances of bringing his daughter to the Paddy Power Christmas party.
