Andy Gray : Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool to bring 2/1 treble home

by David Kent | December 4, 2015

My treble this week is simple but effective :  Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool all to win at 2/1. In terms of anytime goalscorers, I’m thinking Romelu Lukaku, Eden Hazard and Christian Benteke will do the business for a nice 6/1. This is a big week in the Premier League, and it’s a tricky one to call, a lot of tight games on paper

Stoke vs Man City – 12:45 – Saturday – BT Sport
blog_mark-hughes_hdr1
This is a potential League Cup final rehearsal after the semi final draw. Stoke are a tough nut to crack at home, but they’ve been indifferent recently, and Man City have so many quality players in their side

Andy’s bet

Back Man City to win and go for Kevin De Bruyne for first goal scorer at

Chelsea vs Bournemouth – 17:30 – Saturday – Sky Sports 1

Chelsea were good enough to win last week, and Jose Mourinho will be happy with the clean sheet. Bournemouth showed tremendous fight to come back late against Everton, but they’ll need a lot more to beat Chelsea, and I just can’t see it

Andy’s bet

An easy home win. 2-0 to Chelsea at , with Eden Hazard to score first

Newcastle vs Liverpool – 16:00 – Sunday – Sky Sports 1

Liverpool were dominant midweek against Southampton, and Newcastle are in disarray, they were completely sunk by Palace last week and it doesn’t get any easier

Andy’sbet
Whoever Liverpool start up front will score first, and I think it’ll be Christian Benteke at . A comfortable 3-1 win for the Reds

Man United vs West Ham – 15:00 – Saturday

This is the biggest game of the weekend, which is saying something! West Ham are good away from home, but without Payet and Sakho they’ll be hurt, and their record isn’t great in Old Trafford. United should have enough to get the win and then focus on midweek

Andy’s bet

I fancy Anthony Martial to deliver the first goal , and that’ll settle United. 3-1 to the Red Devils at

Arsenal vs Sunderland – 15:00 -Saturday

This is a home banker. Although Sunderland have improved defensively under Big Sam (three clean sheets out of four), Arsenal will want to get into gear ahead of that crucial Champions League game midweek against Olympiakos.

Andy’s bet

2-0 to Arsenal at

Everton vs Crystal Palace – 20:00 – Monday – Sky Sports 1
Lukaku correct size
This is big for Everton, a win will see them leapfrog a couple of places in the table, and they’ll be hot on Liverpool’s heels. Palace have been dangerous away from home, but Everton are in top form at the moment, and will want to respond to the draw last Saturday

Andy’s bet

Romelu Lukaku is a cert for first goalscorer at , and I think Everton will win 2-1

Southampton vs Aston Villa – 15:00 -Saturday

These sides met in the League Cup a few weeks back, and Southampton came out on top. I fancy them to do it again this week. Koeman has them playing good football at St.Mary’s. Villa are in trouble, they have to pull out a result soon, but I don’t think it’ll come on Saturday. Southampton are gunning to avenge the embarrassment in the cup

Andy’s bet

Southampton 2-1 Aston Villa at nice odds of

Swansea vs Leicester – 15:00 – Saturday

Garry Monk

I always have a 2-2, and I think this week it’ll be here. Swansea need a result to kick start their season, and we know all about Leicester’s form and the form of Jamie Vardy. Two very even sides. Leicester love to get forward, they are a breath of fresh air, but it’ll be tight.

Andy’s bet

Swansea 2-2 Leicester

West Brom vs Tottenham – 15:00 -Saturday

Spurs are unbeaten in 13, but looked a bit stifled against Chelsea last week at the Lane. I expect them to put it right against the Baggies, who were happy to take a point from Upton Park last weekend

Andy’s bet
Another 2-1, in favour of the North London side at

Watford vs Norwich – 15:00 – Saturday

A draw is very appealing in this one, but I think with home advantage, Watford will just have enough in the tank to see off Norwich. Ighalo has been in top top form, and defensively they’re quite tight as well

Andy’s bet

A narrow Watford victory, maybe 1-0, bu I’m predicting 2-1
