Andy Gray: Chelsea to hammer in the final nails with this 10/1 correct score win over Manchester United

by Andy Gray | December 27, 2015

Watford v Tottenham Hotspur – 3pm

I really like Tottenham a lot this season. I thought they would go well if Harry Kane could reproduce what he did last year and he is doing. Pochettino now has a side that he likes, that’s not picking up any serious injuries so he’s getting to field the same team week after week.

Saying that there’s only three teams between these two sides and if Watford win this game they go level on points and could be, depending on other results, in a Champions League place. It’s extraordinary to see how far Watford have come this season but I do like what Spurs are doing. They’re difficult to beat away from home and I think we’re going to get a score draw in this game. My gut feeling is to go for a Tottenham win but we have to give Watford more credit. They’ll be up for this after drawing at Stamford Bridge and with two good teams in good form I’m going for the 1-1 draw.

  • Andy’s Bet: 1-1 Draw at

Crystal Palace v Swansea – 3pm

Crystal Palace have trouble with consistency at home where they’ve won four and lost four but they are unbeaten in their last five games. Swansea had a big win over West Ham in their last game so they’ll be looking to get something from this game. again I’m feeling the score draw and I’m edging towards 2-2.

  • Andy’s Bet: 2-2 Draw at

Everton v Stoke – 3pm

Everton played really well away at St James’ and picked up a good win. Now they’re back at Goodison Park I think they’ll pick up another win. It’ll be tough against Stoke but the Toffees by a narrow margin.

  • Andy’s Bet: Everton to win by exactly 1 goal at

Norwich v Aston Villa

Aston Villa are good enough to get something from this game. Their form and their confidence is improving. Norwich have drawn their last two home games, Villa have drawn their last two away games. I think this one finishes 1-1.

  • Andy’s Bet: 1-1 draw at

West Brom v Newcastle

I agree with the odds on this one. The draw does look attractive at but I think the Baggies shade the win.

  • Andy’s Bet: West Brom to win at

Arsenal v Bournemouth

I agree with Wenger that they were unlucky with the goals they conceded but watching the whole game Arsenal were very, very poor. There was no sharpness in their play, they looked ponderous and tired. They were very disappointing. I think we have to expect a response from the players against Bournemouth.

Bournemouth have nothing to lose, who are heavy underdogs at . They could be worth a punt but I still think Arsenal will bounce back and get the win comfortably. I’m thinking at least 2-0 if not more.

  • Andy’s Bet: Arsenal -1 goal at

West Ham v Southampton

It was a terrific win for the Saints over Arsenal. Although West Ham picked up a good point away in their last game I think Villa really dominated the game. How the Hammers got a point from that game I’m not quite sure. Southampton will go there fired up with confidence. They’ll make one or two changes to freshen up the side and I’m looking for the Saints to win 1-0.

  • Andy’s Bet: Southampton to win 1-0 at

Manchester United v Chelsea

Neither team is filled with a great deal of confidence. If either side has an advantage confidence-wise it’s Chelsea simply because they have a new coach in. They didn’t win against Watford but they really should have.

At Old Trafford United will be under a tremendous amount of pressure to win. I’m not so sure they will. I don’t see anything in their play that would worry me if I was at Chelsea. If United don’t make a good start then the fans could start to turn pretty easily. I can see Chelsea taking all three points here.

There won’t be a lot in it but I can see United getting a goal so Chelsea to win 2-1 sounds about right.

  • Andy’s Bet: Chelsea to win 2-1 at
