Ruby Walsh: I prescribe hair of the Dog-ora to ease your festive hangover with this 25/1 each-way shot

I think Let’s Dance will go well but there’s plenty of support for Ivanovich Gorbatov. I like Let’s Dance, she’d one run in France where she was second in Fontainebleu, she’s working well at home. Obviously Ivanovich Gorbatov is a better flat horse than us but I like this filly, she’s going well. You saw Willie Mullins’ horses yesterday they were in really good order so finger’s crossed she’ll get the day off to a really good start.

It should be straight forward enough today. Un De Sceaux’ll jump out and he’ll go. He seems plenty fit, seems in really good form I just hope he puts in a good round of jumping. It’s easy to say he’s my best ride on the card but he’s probably not a backable one, which is why’d I’d say put the money on Let’s Dance.

This is an unbelievably competitive novice hurdle which will tell us a lot in regards to the future. I stuck with Long Dog but I don’t know, Bachasson is only a head behind him. A good jump here or there could swap it around. Obviously I didn’t have the choice of Bleu Et Rouge or Petit Mouchoir so I had Long Dog or Bachasson. I’m not sure if I’m on the right one or not but what I do know is the Bleu Et Rouge has improved a lot for his winning run in Cork and likewise with Petit Mounchoir and his run in Thurles. The one we all have to beat is Tombstone who was very good in his maiden and showed plenty of speed.

This is an absolute lottery as far as picking the winner but Dogora definitely has an each-way chance, especially when you’re paying out on the first five. Gilgamboa is the class horse in this race and the one to beat. Another each way chance is The Job Is Right, he can stay forever and will loved the ground. For me your top five will be Gilgamboa, The Job is For You, Dogora, Minella Foru and Rossvoss.

We were disappointed with Tarare on his debut but has seemed to have improved a lot at home. He looks to be in good form, he’ll love the ground here today, he’ll stay forever and he should collect with a bit of luck.
