A European goal rush could bring up this 32/1 Saturday night accumulator

Planning to get to France in the summer for the Euros? Use one of their better known clubs to get you there!

by David Kent | February 19, 2016

In order to help Man United and Liverpool and fans scout next year’s Europa League opposition, and to improve Andy Gray’s linguistic skills, we’ve come up with a Saturday night European football accumulator featuring a glut of goals. It’s more of a certainty than a Manchester United injury crisis at this stage.

Inter vs Sampdoria – Serie A – 19:45

Starting in Serie A. Inter have conceded just eight goals in their 13 home games, which is the best record in Italy after Juventus. While Sampdoria have won just once away from home all season. They’ve conceded at least a goal in each of their last 12, but have scored at least once in their last six.

Up against an Inter side that , despite their good home record, have let in 10 in their last five. Inter will win, but that defence is a bit shaky, and I think Sampdoria will get a goal out of them. Inter to win and both teams to score

Monaco vs Troyes – Ligue 1 – 19:00

Heading to France, where the season’s already over, PSG have been crowned champions, and Chelsea are about to sniff around to get their annual French signing.
Okay two of those things are true, but there are still Champions League places and a relegation scrap, both of which are part of the game at Stade Louis. Monaco are currently Zlatan’s closest challengers (still 26 points behind) while Troyes are 14 points off safety, and are about to be sent straight back to Ligue 2. Monaco are unbeaten in 10 games at home. Troyes with only two wins all season? Monaco to win and over 2.5 goals

Twente vs Cambur – Eredivisie – 18:45

FC Twente have suffering from the lasting effect of Steve McClarenitis in recent years. While not quite as bad as last season (where they were deducted six points for being poor – no really!) they were sitting 17th after a run of five straight losses, conceding 19 goals over those games. They have managed to string together three wins in a row to rise to 13th in their 50th year in the Eredivisie.

Cambur on the other hand are joint bottom of the table and don’t look to be moving anytime soon. Seven straight losses, scoring just twice has Irishman Jack Byrne’s side heading into a relegation playoff at least. Twente have confidence, so back the clean sheet. FC Twente to win to nil

Pacos Ferreira vs Benfica – 18:30

Benfica have been the goal kings in Portugal, scoring on average 2.72 a game. And yet somehow, they sit second in the table behind Sporting Lisbon. Jonas Oliviera has 23 of their 60 in total including a brace against Pacos back in September.
This won’t be an easy one for Benfica though, Pacos themselves are in a fight for a Europa League spot. For a team with a ground smaller than Crawley Town’s, that haven’t won in their last five home games, that’s pretty impressive.

But apart from a minor blip against Porto, there seems to be no stopping the Benfica juggernaut. Keep it simple in this one and back over 2.5 goals
